Building Homes   Rebuilding Lives

Helping veterans and the unhoused, one Tiny Home at a time.
MISSION

Tiny Homes for Humanity's mission is to create homes for unhoused or low-income veterans, individuals and families.

We promote the "housing first" model which prioritizes stable housing as the first step toward improving lives.

VISION

We work with Public+Private resources to fund   projects and Contractors+Volunteers to build them.

A typical Tiny Home Village includes 25 homes,  community building with covered patio, gazebo, parking, community garden, dog park and green space.

Upon completion, management is provided by  an existing social service agency.

VETERANS HOUSING

Many veterans in our community struggle to find stable, affordable housing with easy access to support services needed to improve their lives.  A Tiny Home Village builds camaraderie and includes a community building providing wrap-around services and programming.

WHY TINY HOMES?

Tiny Homes are a residential, life enhancing  approach with many advantages over more  institutional apartment projects.

  • Economical to build

  • Fast to construct

  • Energy efficient

  • Low maintenance

  • Buildable by volunteers

  • Accessible on ground-level

  • Encourages social interaction

  • Creates a neighborhood feel

  • Develops personal responsibility

  • Connects with surrounding nature
